Whole fruit brings fibre and water.
The same fruit, dried, becomes much more concentrated because water is removed.

What changes the picture?

Juice removes much of the fibre and is easy to drink quickly. A piece of whole fruit generally takes more time and chewing.

The volume trap

A 600 mL bottle at 10 g/100 mL contains roughly 60 g carbohydrate — even though the density number looks small.

Liquid carbohydrate is often consumed rapidly and may not create the same fullness as a solid food.
