The following doctors use the services provided by Boonah and Kalbar Medical Centres to conduct their independent practices. The doctors hours and fees vary from each other. Any fees listed on this website could be regarded as maximum fees.

 

Dr. Tony Eviston MB BS Dip RACOG FRACGP

Practicing across the full range of General Practice. Special interests include chronic disease management, diabetes, counseling, men's health and medical education.

Dr. David Eviston  MB BS; BSc (Hons); PhD, FRACGP 

Dr. David grew up in Boonah, graduated from University of Queensland in Science and from Sydney University in Medicine. After 2 years at Nepean Hospital as a resident doctor and PhD student he spent 2014 as a GP locum at Boonah and Kalbar Medical Centres,  In 2015 and 2016 he worked at Goondiwindi and Gatton respectively whilst completing his General Practice training before returning to Boonah to establish his own practice.

Dr. Nicole Taleon MD  BSc MBA

Dr. Nicole joins Boonah and Kalbar Medical Centres as an independent General Practitioner with a decade of post graduate experience in hospital medicine and general practice in the Philippines and Gosford, New South Wales. Nicole has special interest in womens and child health as well as the full range of general practice presentations. Nicole has broad interests including skin cancer management.

Dr. Lauren Browne  MBBS; BSc; FRACGP

Dr. Lauren is a Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is currently working 2 days a week at Kalbar. Lauren has broad experience in Medicine and has previously served over 20 years in the RAAF. She is currently running her practice from the Kalbar surgery on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Dr. Martin Watson  BSc (Hons); MBChB

Doctor Martin Watson is a graduate of Strathclyde and Dundee Universities in Scotland. He has advanced training in emergency medicine and will be continuing his part-time work with the Royal Flying Doctor Service whilst conducting his general practice at Boonah and Kalbar Medical Centres  3 weeks each month as a General Practice registrar affiliated with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.

Dr. Paul Everett  MBBS MHSc EMAD (ACEM)

Dr Paul Everett was an army kid who settled in Brisbane to finish his schooling; however, he very much enjoys the lifestyle and sense of community of our country town. He has a longstanding career in health beginning in 1994 as an ambulance officer and intensive care paramedic. Dr Paul completed his medical degree as a mature aged student and has subsequently spent many years specialising in emergency medicine and has also worked for the Australian Defence Force.
Dr Paul’s commitment and passion for helping others has led to him to working in a general practice setting as a Rural Generalist Registrar affiliated with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. His professional pursuits encapsulate a wide spectrum of medical expertise, encompassing acute and complex medical conditions in both paediatric and adult patients. Other interest areas include mental health, preventative medicine, men's health, weight management, antenatal and postnatal care.  Dr Paul is a compassionate doctor providing comprehensive patient centred care.

The doctors are registered with all relevant regulatory authorities and are on the Vocational Register of General Practitioners.
